It's zine, zine, zine at the moment. I've just
done a phone interview with InPress about next Saturday's
zine fair in Port Melbourne, and I've just been asked to teach
two more zine-making workshops at two high schools over St. Kilda
way. They're not really open to the public, but the one I'm teaching
on Saturday at the Port Melbourne Town Hall is. Get the guff (or
the skinny, if you prefer) in the newly-crafted gigs section
of this very site.
I've almost finished the latest Jutchy
Ya Ya. I cheated a little and worked on it over two
nights, but the main thing is getting it done. Its the first
one since November last year. Insert generic whinge about how
pathetic it is to not even be able to find the time to make
a lousy eight-page zine here. Hopefully I'll get it printed
in time for the zine fair. It's about superhero songs, pachinko,
lawnmowers, accidental death and personal ads.
In other news my contribution to the Prom on
Mars Remix
Gallery is now live, celebrating the 100th strip of Alex Bernstein's
retro-futuristic space-teen drama.
I've also updated the Stuff page,
adding links to articles I've had published by the always entertaining
folk at Cordite.
