The Search, Part II.

So I fixed up my end-of-last-semester project proposal to make it more like what I'm actually going to do this semester (one animation, not four, ditch the interactive menu) and less like a homework assignment. Then I wrote a cover letter, agonising over the "will you do it for free?" paragraph, eventually deciding that offering Bud dinner or lunch (his choice) actually did sound incredibly lame and deleted that part. Then Anna and I went to see Hellboy at Northland (patchy, but still ace - Ron Perlman is Hellboy) and after we got back I looked over the proposal, the cover letter and the email I'd written to Bud's agent with the detachment that comes from a few hours spent doing something totally unrelated, and came to the conclusion that whatever I wrote would make me cringe and sent it off anyway.
