Tom Herpich Speaks.

Tom is responsible for the two glorious comics known as Gongwanadon and Cusp, wickedly black and mischeviously funny collections of crazy, surprising, dreamlike modern fairy-tales. I did an interview with him that's just gone up on PopImage. We talked about artistic motivation, the role of ugliness and honesty in his work, and a bunch of other stuff, too.
