My two favourite online writers continue to bring' home the goods. Over at whygodwhy, everyone's favourite Kevin Fanning is working on an ongoing Untitled Project that's a story-in-installments about a celebrity blogger's work-life and lovelife. It's a great lovingly cynical look at the world of blogs that's had me giggling at the monitor more than once. Meanwhile, Joshua Allen's Chokeville has gone and got a domain of its own, a place exculsively dedicated to this NeoPulp masterpiece that's ostensibly about a young man hired by a mysterious corporation to find a piece of paper that blew out of a window one day, weaving all manner of fantastic elements into the urban setting: disembodied cardplaying hands, airships, crazy sound-based weapons - that sort of thing. Josh isn't archiving it at the moment, so you gotta keep checking back for updates, but that shit is totally worth it, mang. |
