Reports are coming in concerning sightings of the enigmatic "Fastidious Frog" comic strip, penned by local music notorieté David Nichols, whose associations with Melbourne's music scene, and indeed, music in general, are widespread and approaching 10 on the ubiquity scale. These latest sightings centre around a certain pub in Brunswick known only as "Victoria" (though this may be an alias). Pocket-sized leaflets advertising the pub as a band venue as well as itemising its dinner and lunch menus have been seen scattered around Sydney Road and its surrounds. One such leaflet was obtained from "groovy" second-hand clothing store Episode. It is not known whether this is a regular drop-off point for said leaflet, or whether the discovery was mere coincidence. Residents of Brunswick are advised to be on the lookout for these small, green folded-up pieces of paper, but are warned that the contents of these leaflets may prove diverting and entertaining. Neither Mister Nichols nor his amphibian creation were available for comment.
