History
A 40-yr-old man presents with a 4 week history of a rapidly growing lesion
on his finger. There is no history of medical illness and he is otherwise
well, with no lymphadenopathy nor skin lesions elsewhere. There is no
history of trauma.
He seeks a second opinion after consulting a surgeon who diagnosed a
malignant tumour and recommended urgent amputation of the finger.
