This is what you see when you arrive at Nikko... this is the view over the railway station carpark. By this time I knew I was onto a good thing coming here.
Another look at the mountains from Nikko, just to left is the hostel where I stayed. Highly recommended.
Five story Pagoda. Donated in 1650, rebuilt in the 1815 after being destroyed by fire. 34 meters high.
