I've been running my own business, Obsidian Star, since 1999. It started out as a Witchy store, but has changed into eco-friendly stuff over the years instead. I also run the Online "Mall" store, Cloth Pad Shop... I do a lot of advocacy for Reusable Menstrual Products... such as co-modding cloth_pads and running ClothPads.org & Cloth Pad Reviews. I also organise donations of cloth pads to impoverished women around the world - setting up the website DonatePads.org to try and raise awareness of this cause. (yes, my life revolves around cloth pads!) I'm a Pagan (Witch), I (sometimes) do Belly Dancing, I'm Liadan in the SCA (medieval group), and I Blog (occasionally) and I spend entirely too much time Gaming! I'm also insanely passionate about purple.... I also love..... Chai, Jeep Wranglers, Lego, Fondling Fabric, Chewing on the end of Pens, MacGyver, Backyard Chooks, Sushi, Bento, Mehendi, Sleeping in, Martial Arts Movies, Putting a lot of full stops after words to mark a pause....Vegemite on Toast, Steampunk, The Sound of Rain on the Roof, Star Wars, Potato (in all it's forms), Corsets, Being Silly, Red Dwarf, Randomly Capitalising Words that Shouldn't Be, Singing Loudly to the Radio, Cooking, My Fancy Turkish Teacups, Procrastinating on the Internet, Paisley, Stationary, inventing elaborate swearwords, walking around barefoot, rambling on ...... and lots of other random things. |
