Want to know more about me?

I live in Melbourne, Australia with my Husband and my young Daughter.  I do Tarot Reading and Natural Therapies (Aromatherapy, Herbalism etc.).  I love coffee!  and if I was on a desert island and could take only one thing.... it would have to be my computer (assuming I had somewhere to plug it in)..failing that, my belly dancing drum.

I've been a Pagan for pretty much all my life really... I just didn't know what it was called.  I taught myself Tarot Reading when I was about nine, and used to Worship the Earth, Believe in a Goddess and even had an Altar when I was a child.  And no, my parents (nor anyone in my family) were/are Pagan... I don't know where I got my beliefs... they just evolved.

I got interested in healing when I was about 10 or so... I'd bought a book on Metaphysical Healing, and it got me interested in "New Age".  Again, don't know why I bought the book, it just jumped out at me at a garage sale.  I found the name "Wicca" when I was about 16, and that's when I realised that was pretty much what I believed.  I started to seriously study Paganism about 5 years later.

Because my parents (who by now were interested in various "New Age" things) ended up opening a "New Age" shop.. I've been lucky and had an almost limitless supply of books to read on all sorts of subjects.  If I read the books carefully (I never like books I own to look used so I always read carefully), I am able to read the books that are for sale ;)  Which was great, because I am able to read far more books that I could if I had to buy them.  It is also handy for the people who come into the shop to buy books because I can give my opinions on books, and suggest appropriate books, based on what I've read.

Interests and hobbies?

I am/was a belly dancer.. .. I am/was a member of the SCA (medieval group).  (Let a few things lapse really)
I spend too much time on the computer.... not enough of which is spent playing the Sims (a passion of mine).

I am interested in topics like:
Feng Shui, Herbalism, Aromatherapy, Wicca & Paganism (obviously), Human Biology/Anatomy (the body fascinates me), Accupressure (like accupuncture but pressing the area rather than poking needles into it), Auras, Crystals, Tarot, Chakras, Astral Travel, The Pendulum, Runes, Dream analysis.. and stuff I can't think of at the moment.
