You will need:

• Pink or red material
• Needle and thread
• Love attracting herbs, such as Rose, Lotus, Mace,  Copal, Lavender, Chamomile, Cinnamon, Vanilla bean, Jasmine etc.
• 9 lengths of red ribbon
• 9 pieces of paper and a pen

Cut 9 small circles from the cloth, and hem the edges if you wish to do so.  Take the love attracting herbs you will be using, and mix them together in a bowl or mortar and pestle.  

Place a small amount of the herb mixture into the centre of each of the cloth circles.  Write 1 quality you wish your future partner to have on a one of the pieces of paper, and place that in the bag as well.  (For example "kindness", or "Compassion", or "Sense of humour" -something in particular you would like your future partner to have/be)  

Use the ribbon to tie the bags closed, and leave a string to hand them from.  As you tie the  bag, imagine the quality you wished your future partner would have.  

Do the same for the other 8 bags, imagining and writing different qualities for each one.  When you have finished, hang the bags around the house, in different places, and each time you pass by one, think of yourself being happy and in love.  

When you have found your partner, take down the bags, and give them back to the earth, by burying them in the ground, or throwing them into a running stream or river.
