Cord Wish Spell

You can do this spell in a Circle or you can do the spell without casting a Circle if you prefer. This is a spell for any wish you have. You are storing the energy in the cord, and the magick comes out when you untie the knots, which is why it is best to store the most powerful magick of the full moon, however you can do the spell at anytime you need to. You will be tying 9 knots in the cord in a specific order. Each knot must be sealed by dropping a drop of oil onto it, you can use a drop of your saliva or menstrual blood to seal the knots instead if you like. While you are tying the knots, think only of your wish. Scratch the wish you have along the side of a candle appropriate to the wish (or white) and light it. Hold the cord in your hands, and thinking of your wish, start tying the knots in the following order (sealing each one with the oil etc.), while saying one line of the chant after each knot (you might like to mark one end so you know where you started from):

By knot of one, my spell has begun.

After you have tied all the knots, keep the cord in a safe place until you are ready to unleash it. Extinguish the candle, and store it with the cord. The most powerful days to unleash the spell would be the next full moon, or the 3 days before and after it. But if you can't wait that long, you can begin untying the knots the next day. When you are ready to untie the knots, light the candle again, and starting with the first knot you tied, say the same chant, and untie the knot. Repeat, untying the second knot and so on. After you have untied the 9th knot, take the cord outside, and tie it to a tree, or somewhere where the wind can blow it around. Leave it there, and bury whatever is left of the candle.

If you do not receive your wish after a few weeks, then you may have been wishing for the wrong thing, take the cord from the tree and bury it if it has perished, or reuse it when trying the spell again. Think about your wish, were you being too greedy? Would your wish have harmed another? Were you meant to work it out for yourself? Did you phrase the wish wrongly? (And that last one is VERY common) Remember also that sometimes a wish may not be granted the first time you ask, but after the second or third time it may be granted.
