Making a wingless pad is the same as making any other type of pad... but you don't need fasteners and you don't need as much fabric. It can take some getting used to, so that you don't loose your pad down the toilet... but with snug fitting underpants, the right shape and fabics, you should find they don't move about any more than a winged pad would.
Why is shape important? A shape that is narrower through the centre (crotch) will slip less than a straight shape. This is because the narrow point of the pad will pretty much only fit in the narrowest point between your legs.
If you like wingless pads, but also like to have the option of wings... you can always make separate wings to wear with your wingless pads. See the patterns page for the pattern. basically you just make a piece of fabric that can fit over the pad and snap/attach it around your underpants.
Fabrics
such as fleece or corduroy on the back of a wingless pad will help to keep
it in place.
