Jeeps

I have a thing for Jeeps.... Specifically the Wrangler.

I think it comes from watching so much MacGyver as a kid... he had a Jeep, therefore that's cool and I wanted one. I still don't have one. Although as my husband keeps telling me, I do. However matchbox toy cars don't count :P

I did however get the opportunity to hire one for 2 days! Which may be the closest I get to owning one (at least until I win lotto or something).

Much to my amusement I got to "MacGyver" it too! The door strap was broken, but since I have a habit of carrying around safetypins and all manner of things that might be handy in an emergency, I was able to fix the door strap! Hah!

Of course, it wasn't purple... but that's ok... black is the second best colour for a Jeep :D My ultimate desire if to have a Purple one... which I have seen around the place - mostly online, but once I was driving through the carpark of our local shopping centre and there was a Purple Jeep Wrangler parked there! Unfortunately I was in traffic and couldn't stop, because I probably would have stopped and gone over to stroke it lovingly (and then probably been dragged away by the police for being crazy!) But for now I'll have to settle for drooling over pics like this random one I stole off the net..
