I know..
everyone knows how to make a sandwich, but this is my favourite one (when
I have all the ingredients)
Ingredients:
2 slices
of bread
well
drained sweet corn kernels
well
drained beetroot
tomato
(thinly sliced)
slice
of smoked ham
grated
tasty cheese
2 olives
(green stuffed or whatever you like)
1 carrot
- peeled then either peel strips to use, or grate it
cucumer
- sliced (I don't bother removing the skin, you can)
Curried
egg - 1 egg, boiled then mashed with a little milk and (if desired) a small
bit of curried powder
cracked
pepper
mayonaise
or avocado
Method:
1).
Put the beetroot and tomato slices onto paper towel to get rid of extra
moisture (I hate getting red drips down my arms)... then assemble
the sandwich in the following order (it's important to the taste - not
sure why)
plate
:)
bread
(no butter or margarine! but spread avocado or mayo on)
curried
egg
corn
cucumber
ham
carrot
beetroot
cheese
tomato
olives
cracked
pepper
bread
(again no butter or margarine! but spread avocado or mayo on)
2).
Eat (you may need scaffolding :) )
my tips...
tomato on meat don't go as well as tomato on cheese... cheese grips the
tomato a bit better (and tomato on lettuce is asking for trouble).
Take the extra step to get the tomato and beetroot dry, its much neater
that way.
